Lets, start!

Lets start to blog about Lithuania. Yes, it is maybe little bit confusing for you - blogging about fuc***ng WHAT? And you in most ways are right - Lithuania is very small country in Eastern Europe, near Baltic Sea.

But - it is beutifull, intresting and, of course funny. So in this blog I will write a intresting/usefull info about my country.

Okey - Lithuania is that country about what talked Mel Gibson, when he said: "Lithuanians with sharp teeth crawling up the beach with golf clubs to beat your brains out". Oh.. Some of lithuanians may want to beat brains out, but not all. Okey, forget - Mel apoligized for this.

About us singed Cole Porter. Oh, well it was long time ago, but even he know our country and singed -  "In Spain, the best upper sets do it Lithuanians and Letts do it Let's do it, let's fall in love". So Lithuanians DO IT. Be sure.

Okey, okey it was long time ago - we have 2 lithuanians in the NBA - Jonas Valančiūnas and Donatas Motiejūnas. Of course, Motiejūnas is more fan with year membership to the bench of players.. If you like NBA, basketball you should know Žydrūnas Ilgauskas, Arvydas Sabonis, Šarūnas Mačiūlionis and Linas Kleiza, Šarūnas Jasikevičius and Arvydas Macijauskas. Yes, last two sometimes hard to remember even for lithuanians

Motiejunas most time sits on the bench

A basketball means a lot of for Lithuanians, but is some fun things about that. You see, lithuanians calls themselfes as basketball country. They says that "basketball is our religion.". BUT. We never won Olympics with a basketball team. More - we never played for GOLD in Olympics... Of course, we won 3 bronze medals in 6 appearances in the Olympics, but.. Only one time our club won Euroleague - it was 15 years ago.. But a lot of Lithuania people thinks that we still are basketball team.

In the USA, as we know - people loves ice hockey. We have a Dainius Zubrus, who plays there. Some time ago, other player - Darius Kasparaitis was one of dirtest defencmans in National Hockey League...

And about Lithuania.. It is long story.. A climate here is normal, but most time we have rain. Only one difference from UK about rain - we do not have a fog. Most people are friendly and... We have winters with -25 by celsius. And... But wait- this is what about this blog will be. Let me have topics for a feature : )
